What do non-religious people contribute to the world that religious people can't?

Why indeed?

The reality is they do and atheists try to prove they are right. Otherwise, no forums would exist.

Sure they would. Debates are just a small part of the forum. There are those here who have no interest in proving anything. Some don't identify with atheism or theism, and some just like popcorn.

4,000 other ideologies.

Then the 100,000s of other ideologies through the ages.

I don't think you understood the question, unless your suggesting that an ideology can make another ideology no longer an ideology.

Why? They must think it does something. I feel like most charities are misappropriating funds and doing a shoddy job overall, that everything is a mess, and charity is often a total waste.
I look into the charities I give to. For example, our local food bank distributes food to the needy through various other agencies. 'Soup kitchen' get a lot of it. But yes some are top end heavy.

What if a non-religious person doesn't feel any reason to give their hard earned money to some "needy" people, since they have no God to answer to who cares if they waste their money on the poor or not?

And what if a religious person doesn't feel any reason to give their hard earned money to some "needy" people, because they have a God sitting on their shoulder to demand they should waste their money of people who don't belong to their club?

Once a new ideology is created it calls into question the validity of the others.
Once it gets into the 1,000s you have to agree Men create religions.

Uh..I object mildly. This forum exists to help people communicate not to provide a means of sparring. It does allow sparring though, but if the sparring ever ends there still remains the bond of general friendship and common descent.

Validity wasn't being discussed. Religions are still ideologies. Whether or not you think they are valid is irrelevant to this discussion.

Once it gets into the 1,000s you have to agree Men create religions.

Who is disputing that men create religion? Isn't that kind of a given?

A man with a mustache can carry out atrocities but they do not carry out atrocities on behalf of mustached people.
So, I'm sure many atheists have carried out terrible things but not in the name of atheism.
A person can kill in the name of atheism. All they have to do is say "For atheism!" when they are killing. Its that simple.

In theory, nothing.

There is nothing a non-religious person could do that couldn't be done by a religious person.

If you turn the question round, ie What could a religious person do that a non-religious couldn't?

A couple come to mind ...
  • Fly a plane into a building on purpose
  • Attach abortion clinics

Yeah there is.

Set up a clinic (as Gosnell did) where hundreds of children could potentially be killed in a day. Rationalize it as "If it was my daughter who needed it..." but obviously do it for the extra cash. Half-train your staff with no medical credentials, so they give the wrong medicine to a mother and kill her ( along with her child). Perform late term abortions. Of yeah, and since things like stem cells (after Gosnell) they now cut up aborted babies and use them to grow parts!

Under Sworn Testimony, Planned Parenthood Officials Admit Infanticide Occurs In Organ Harvesting

Also, tell me again what is wrong with attacking baby-murder factories? And I'm pretty sure environmentalists have blown up buildings with people in rhem "because they pollute."
