British prime ministers have never been elected directly by the public.

The Prime Minister is an MP and head of the government. The leader of the party that wins the most seats in a general election is appointed Prime Minister by the Queen.
Government and Opposition roles

If you voted in the last election and voted Tory you knew who was going to be on if the party you voted for won.

And if you voted in the MEP elections you knew whose faction was going to dominate the European Commission, just as you know whose people are sitting in the Council based on what government was elected in which member country.

They are not elected directly by us though, from meps to the commission is a complicated process, still it's not a problem for us to worry about, they're happy with 5 presidents and we're happy to be rid of them.

But in the previous election, you didn't, you voted May and got Johnson.. Johnson won't last this term, he'll be thrown out by the 1922 committee when the truth about Brexit begins to be realised by the population at large.

I doubt it but who knows,it's almost over.

Neither is the British PM, as far as I can tell from information available on the internet. And the British Head of State, who swears in the UK government, has literally inherited her office.

Who is "we"?

But is it,it's slow and complicated, the inner circle Germany and France crack the whip, the outer circle get what they're given.
Do you approve Johnson making peers out of all the Brexiteers - those people who claimed that the EU was unelected and un-democratic.
They are now in an unelected chamber - how do these hypocrites justify that?
