Looked at the Hebrew version and things started to fall in place (sort of...). The word there is "משחית", Mashchit, which does mean destoryer but has the same root as "משיח", Mashiach, anointed one.

I vote: no.
It reinforces / exaggerates the significance of the "Savior" in the Tanach. It's part of the "big net" being cast out to sea and it returns with many little fish. But it's enough for a meal... if you know what I mean. It may not be tasty and delicious, tho.

Been meaning to ask, what exactly is the low sense of morality, and can you list some of the immoral things people are doing that are provoking incoming destruction?We're down near Hell as people have a very low sense of morality; we need to literally achieve raising that whole level, if we don't want to all be destroyed...
It is not only my responsibility to prove it to them that I'm an archangel, so that then they will listen to their religious texts, and not be immoral.
Also, the morality taught in every religious group isn't the same. Is there an objective moral code people have to follow regardless of religion in order to be saved? What happens if someone's religious beliefs contradict it by chance?
And in that case, what of the irreligious people? Are they doomed?
Sorry for asking so many questions. I just...I like asking questions.
In my understanding the 10 commandments are dimensional levels; that are inherently within our reality - We all know stealing is wrong, etc.
I'm also irreligious - I've studied their philosophies, and eschatologies.
The levels are universal, and most religions align with them in some way naturally.
Luke 17:27 They did eat (Meat), they drank (Alcohol), they married wives (Materialistic), they were given in marriage (People are not Objects), until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

We actually don't all know that. I disagree that stealing is inherently wrong because the why, how, and what of it matters. For example, I used this example in another thread recently; a starving person stealing food for their family from a wealthy supermarket chain isn't the same as someone stealing food from that person's family. There's different factors at play that make the impact on the party being stolen from completely different.
It did not make us dumb, we didn't educate our self with the information it gave us, we chose to be ignorant.
It didn't send me to help, it sent me before it happens.
