Gun Control

Good guys with guns stop very few mass murderers.

Actually, I think about Yemen and Afghanistan. They have something like six guns per person and we call them failed, third world sh*tholes.

Well in war, the playing field is equal. If the bad guys are better skilled, they will beat the good guys with guns. If the good guys are better skilled, they will beat the bad guys. Sometimes its luck too.

But, banning the guns does not fix the problem. People will use swords, knives, bows. Whatever they can.

even to include.....martial art

many moons ago as I studied the fine art of brutality...….
a newspaper article popped up and I clipped it for the note board at the school

Russian had banned the teaching of martial arts

haven't heard of any retraction

and so....only Russian Mafioso would know any thing about it

I heard to about martial arts, if you become a black belt, you need to register that your person has become a living weapon.

The government is going too far with these rules.

having studied I made a point to figure where is the line drawn

aggression is not well played face to face
and in court it gets even WORSE...!!!!!

been there

and all the judge really wanted to know...….who swung first
(the other guy)
but does that leave me to return fire as I see fit?....NO

good thing I tend to be reserved and disciplined

same with ANY applied force
ANY APPLIED FORCE

be SURE of that

if the gun man misses......and you get the upper hand

DON"T get carried away

More guns in the hands of the people. Get RID of the gun regulations!

More guns in the hands of people mean the bad guys get shot easyer.

Get rid of no gun zones. Those people are sitting ducks to a bad guy with a gun.

Getting rid of gun regulation and more guns in the hands of the people means more guns in the hands of the wrong people. It’s common sense.

Forget the fact that gun laws are already very weak and civilians in the US possess almost 40% of the world’s firearms but still mass shootings still happen.

Get rid of gun free zones?
It’s seems you define "gun-free zone" as simply an area that bans private citizens from carrying a gun. And you’re also implying that a rampaging shooter will be deterred by armed civilians and not by an armed guard or cop. That’s an absurd suggestion.

Because we need semi audomatics incase of an economic collaps and incase government gets out of control.

Goodness, we need tanks too! Lol

Lol you need more guns because of authoritarianism and a threat to freedom. You need to stop watching those end of civilization movies.

And honestly, if what u say does happen do u think u and your little semi auto rifle can stand up to the big bad government? One drone strike and its over for you and your kind.

Great question, imo, more good guys with guns to stop would-be mass shooters could significantly diminish the number of shooting victims around mass shooters.

Did you ever hear of the fort hood and Washington navy yard shooting? Both military bases where there were plenty of good guys walking around with guns, but that didn’t stop 2 rampage shooters form going on a killing spree. Sorry but the NRA’s good guy with a gun talking point is false. Texas––which has long had permissive laws on guns––was among the states that expanded gun rights, by reducing safety training requirements to apply for concealed-carry permits.

Where were all the good guys to stop the shooter on elpaso?

Similarly, Ohio has also expanded rights for gun owners. Ohio lawmakers passed a law that allows people with concealed-carry weapons permits to bring firearms into day care centers and onto private planes and lets employees bring guns to their company parking lots. Where were all the good guys with guns in Ohio to stop that shooter?

Knives lead to knife deaths. Cars lead to car deaths. But, so what? We dont ban those. Why ban guns?

Pure ignorance

I don’t believe anybody with a knife is going to kill a massive amount people as opposed to someone with a gun.

Cars lead to car deaths? So if someone gets into their car, they’re driving towards their death or someone else’s?
