I just compare the two since Buchanan sounds like an old-timey segregationist type when he starts ranting about non-whites coming to flood the country and take it from white people, even if he is sensible about other topics. Yep, and this is what in part drives Trump nuts and why he constantly tries to get his childish digs in, and also why he has wanted to undo every program that Obama initiated no matter how may innocent people that may hurt, such as repealing the ACA that would eliminate insurance for roughly 20 million Americans.

What the conservatives in this forum don't understand and should be worried about is what does this say about how the Millenials and Gen X are going to vote in the next election? It doesn't look good for the Republicans. This poll should be making you say "Oh-oh"

Correct.....IF they show up. They can't vote with their smartphones. They have to actually stand in line at the voting booth.

I'm a Millennial and I've never voted in person, but I've voted in every general election since 2008 (my first year of eligibility). I always vote absentee. So try again to insult my generation.

I often participate in early voting but have used absentee balloting when I was in the military. Nonetheless, voting is a matter of who shows up to vote, regardless how, not what people think in general.
Fair enough. Ohio, where I live, allows anyone to vote absentee if they want. You just request a ballot to be mailed to you and mail it back. They used to only do it for the general elections but started allowing it for the midterms last year, too (so I voted in the midterms last year for the first time).

They (The Millennials) did turn up for the 2018 elections and not only that Gen Z (those born after 1999) is now becoming eligible for the vote and they mostly identify with the Democrats. Of the electorate the Boomers and Silent Gen are a declining population. Boomers are at 28% of the electorate, Millennials are 27%, Gen X (my generation, thank you. We gave you Obama) is at 25%, Gen Z is closing in at 10% and the Silent Gen is at 9%. The Millennials, Gen X and Gen Z are mostly aligned in their political and social views with the Democratic party. The voting bloc that usually votes Republican (Boomers and Silent Gen) is in decline.

I'm fine with that. It's inevitable. What you are missing is the disproportionate voting percentages of each group. What the link doesn't show is how they voted.
Let's not forget that the older people become, the more conservative they become......let's just hope not RWNJ conservative.

Other Pew Research polls have shown that Gen X, the Millennials and Gen Z mostly identify as liberal.
And the more older they become, the more dead they become. We are witnessing the Great Conservative Die Off.
