If a housecat can chase off a bear, I predict I shan't have heart failure from most bear breeds charging. A cat is just a cat. I've got years of anger and frustration. You may want to feel sorry for any bear who makes a bad decision in my presence.
But i wouldn't like or want that. I'd much rather it be a peaceful encounter of curious minds.

Many years ago a friend who was born in Texas and moved here was asked "why did you up do something so foolish. boy?" - The 'boy' was in reference to his relative age not race.

I get asked why I moved here almost daily. Every once in awhile its asked in a similar mentality that moving here is dumb. Then I get to make them feel bad after I explain to them how everything but the air is better here.

Bill Maher makes a pretty good point when he points out how saying Biden is too old or "not another white guy" is ageist and racist. Too bad he's not going a step further and pointing out younger presidents have died in office and that's why the choice of VP is important.
He's very wrong for thinking Pence won't to be as bad, however. Pence would be so much worse and is why Trump needs to put down the big mac and pick up an orange. His old-timey MidWest demeanor got to Bill, to the point that Bill believes a theocrat with very little opposition from Republicans would be better. Or, basically, why I voted for Hillary because Pence as a VP hopeful is too close to presidency.

I wonder how common/frequently it happens that people end with jobs where they end up breaking the law to do their job? I'm blueberries and cream guilty, and I'm about to venture into civily offensive to do my job with the lyft amp. But I've already broken many moving laws delivering newspapers. Most cops don't care if you drive in the wrong side of the road to do that. Some mind very much.

Trump's USSC justice appointments have been good.
But even if you disagree about that evaluation, we can
agree that Pence's would be worse...more theocratic.
This is a very great power the President has.

Trump gets opposition from Republicans that Pence will not face. He can also attract moderates for seeming calm and sane compared to Trump. Trump attempts. Pence does, and he goes down fighting tooth and nail. Even when the supreme court says yes, he says no.

I can't afford to miss this weekend. But I hurt so much today, I'm on the verge of crying depressed, but its a holiday weekend (i think) and I need the money.
But my birthday gift to myself this year will be applying for disabilities and starting on my freelance career. Having guaranteed income while being trans and going freelance, its a great thing even if it means lots of chronic pain and mental illness to get it.
