Science is a false God

But we *know* that QM is a non-causal theory, which destroys the 'first cause' argument for the existence of a deity. Of course, that argument has a host of other problems, but this adds one more.

Just like the greatest most eminent thinkers of their day knew Alchemy, Neptunism, the geocentric universe, Spontaneous Generation, Lamarckism, Emication, the existence of the planet Vulcan, Lysenkoism, Gradualism, Trepanation, Miasma theory of disease, Telegony, the expanding earth, the existence of Phlogiston, martian canals, Luminiferous Aether, the Steady State Theory, Cold Fusion, Hollow Earth Theory and Phrenology were all absolutely true, right?

And this would undermine your Atheism?
Let's drop labels of atheist and christian for a moment.
As humans, people or a person, what evidence can you bring forth that a God does exist?

Atheist accept there is no evidence for a God so why should we accept any different.
You and your like say even though there is no evidence showing a God does exist, you can't show he doesn't. So based on that I believe in God.
With that said. Do you realise you are basing your belief on the negative, lack of evidence whereas we accept what there is no evidence for? Think that over. .

if you go a multiverse theory then it would, but that is simply replacing 'the universe' with 'the multiverse' for this discussion.

But a multiverse would NOT be a supernatural in any case.

And just what demonstrable, quantifiable, empirical, falsifiable, testable, replicable evidence do you have demonstrating how causality works in other universes?

Hmm...Genesis doens't say anything about how long God existed before the creation of the Earth. It also tells of God hovering about the waters of the deep and bringing forth dry land. That is hardly a good description of the formation of the *universe*. At most, it is a failed description of the formation of something very local to the Earth.

The Bible has over 750,000 words and still too many don't read it but you want God to add another few million more explaining in excruciating detail precisely how he formed all of reality, which you probably wouldn't even begin to understand? Seriously?

Genuine faith in God is perfectly grounded in facts. The realities which form this foundation arise from two sources: One is from all that which God has produced while the other is from all those things he has made known to us.

Reasoning from the tried and true principles of cause and causatum, we find within the world of nature all of the proof we need of a Creator. So much so that many neurotypical recognize that if exceptional intellect is required to merely duplicate the breathtakingly daedal designs and systems present in nature (Biomimetics) then much more the original being replicated. In this way, Creation itself is probative of our Creator's necessary existence.

As Romans 1:20 explicates: “For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward because they are perceived by the things made.” So indisputable is this proof for a wise Creator that the Scriptures simply point out: “The senseless one has said in his heart: ‘There is no Jehovah.’”— Psalms 14:1.

But there is certainly far more that furnishes us with an excellent foundation for our faith. The perfect truth we require for such a foundation exists within the Holy Bible, his recorded Word for us all. Its internal harmony, the well-documented success of its detailed and accurate prophecies, along with the corroboration, by historians, archaeologists as well as other researchers and scholars, of the details it holds, certify it beyond any doubt to be of divine origin and thus unquestionably true.

Accordingly, everything that God wishes us to accept beyond what he has shown us via the natural world is found in his Word. Inside it, he has provided you with a strong framework for which to reason on and develop a solid confidence that realities beyond your reach or still to be brought to fruition, are certain and true.

You have nothing in facts. It all faith and belief. The only fact you have is the bible which really does exist and was was written by men, not God's. You so deeply believe you think is fact, want it to be fact, but you can't support it as fact with evidence.
If you accept that as fact, so be it but don't try to spoon feed your false facts to others. When you can show evidence let me know, but be warned, I will take a look at what's in your spoon before I eat it.

Again you stray from the point. If your God created evil( which you've avoided answering why) and can stop evil, why doesn't he?

Because your question is malformed. God doesn't create evil for anyone, only good. It is we who create evil for ourselves when we stray from what is good.

Why do I suspect this is a quote taken out of context? You might want to check your source to be sure it is accurate.

Go ahead and investigate the quote for yourself.

Why does it shock you to learn that Agnostics are open to evidence for God's existence?

No, we merely wish for words that are not contradicted by reality.

Yes, having a 'prejudice' towards verifiable evidence and the actual archeological record is so damaging to 'true' religion.

Which is certainly meaningful since, thankfully, we have an absolutely complete and meticulous historical and archaeological record for every single event in every single ancient culture that has ever existed . . . oh . . . wait . . .

Once again that is not the way it works. A person using a quote has the duty to demonstrate that it is in context. Creationists especially are fond of lying by quote mining. That is why you need to be able to produce the original upon demand.

Well that went over your head. Why try to build a strawman? I don't think you fooled anyone.

Your God created evil and allows it to exist and thrive. That's the reality of your God who created every thing.

And the JW are known for their objectivity and impartiality?

I have not met a group today more biased than that of JW.

"The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil." Because of this "I hate . . . evil conduct, and perverse speech." -Proverbs 8:13

Even Christ Jesus himself "loved justice and hated evil." (Hebrews 1:9)

So, yes, we do have biases. The very same biases against evil and for goodness that both Jehovah God and Christ Jesus hold.

You don't believe in personal responsibility . . I get it . . .

Where is your evidence negating the reality of all of the Bible's specific and accurately fulfilled prophecies?

The only species that chases and believes in God's are humans. Humans made God's up in their imagitive minds.
In your story God created all creatures, did God create us to slaughter pigs, cows, chickens, and etc, to pollute the earth, and kill other species off to extinction? We destroy and kill more than anything on the planet. Justify that by your God?
