I've already experienced this.
But it sure works well with 8 foot long pallets.
I'll now make some 10 foot long ones.
I put my smaller antique lathes on them.

You need one of these

I'm surprised that you made such a cromulent suggestion.
Those are "structural" rails, which suit my purposes better than the more
common tapered style I bought. That's a Pallet Mule.
But I went for a cheaper one by Vestil (less than $700 including shipping).

The heavy dutiest pallet jack I have is an 8,000 pound Jet.
Pallet Mule makes one capable of carrying 15,000 pounds.
Dang!

How un-cromulent of you

Government Shutdown
TSA calling in sick
Talking possible strike
FAA Inspector all out during the shutdown
No planes getting inspected
National parks are closed
I was planning on going to one
My vacation plans for next month may be dashed too

I commented in another thread that @Revoltingest 's timeline for the shutdown was optimistic. But a TSA strike would shorten the shutdown. Presumably. But my rant on the topic will be reserved for another thread.

So I'm about to go have lunch in a bit.
