Jesus is a Joke

None were born until well after the alleged "events" happened. Most, multiple generations after. Thus, they cannot be Historians in the usual sense. Repeating gossip does not a history make.

So? That means zip. They repeated the gossip of the day-- they were not actual witnesses to anything.

The fact that you laugh, proves Christian Privilege is alive and well, even now.

Nope. I've done some research. 100% of the alleged "evidence" is at least two generations-- most is 5 generations or more-- too late.

You are guilty of that christian privilege you laugh at.
Well first of all on “Christian privilege”, i guess we see it differently because we have different views of what Christianity or being a Christian is. You see it as this religious system that ruled much of the ancient world; and maybe even now believe that Christianity is what is being portrayed now through the media and even the mainstream churches or christians who don’t really follow Jesus, but wear the Christianity thing like a badge. But to me it’s actually picking up your own cross and following Jesus, much of the things real christians believe, they get persecuted and killed for, back then and now. Something modern western Christianity doesn’t understand; because it’s just a hobby instead of their life; it’s fake and not reality to them. The early church were being slaughtered left and right for there beliefs in Jesus(which if He wasn’t real, doesn’t make sense why they would die for Him) and it wasn’t until man made christianity a constitution where it became dominant in society, and even that it misrepresented Jesus and became its own thing which you refer to as Christian privellege. But even now being a Christian is despised in society, and the name of Jesus is looked down upon. If you want to know if Christian privilege exists ask the millions of Christians in the Middle East being persecuted for their faith right now and being slaughtered because they follow Jesus who you say never existed. Go to the villages of Mexico where there dismembering Christians and raping their women. Or how about China where they have to have underground meetings, because if they get caught, they will be tortured and killed. That’s why I laugh at “Christian privellege”.

Comedy Gold! It'd work much better, if Jesus is also in black fishnets, a body stocking, stiletto heels, and sporting some seriously glorious eye makeup. Oh, and bright-bright ruby-red lipstick.

Think Frank-N-Furter from Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Any chance, if the guy was real, he had any humor?

I think Jesus was real. But what is in the Gospels is not radical enough. If you are going to get crucified you have to really be a threat to temple power. I think contrary to what the Bible says Jesus says, I think Jesus advocated you don't have to pay money to the temple or even go to temple in order to achieve salvation.

I am the bread
I am the way
I am the truth
I am the life
I am the light
I am the vine
I AM
No man cometh to the Father, but by Me

But I know your playing.

A more radical thing to say would have been:

Each of you can know the way
Each of you is the truth
Each of you is the life
Each of you is the light
Each of you is the vine
We are all the same I AM
We are ALL sons and daughters of the same Father

I just think what is in the Gospels is not radical enough to get you crucified. I think Jesus was way more radical than what shows up in the Bible.

Revelation 18:4
Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; 5 for her sins are heaped high as heaven,
and God has remembered her iniquities.

Genesis 11:4
Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth.”

especially if you've got your own tabernacle.

No He’s pretty radical in the bible, and the whole bible in general is radical.

If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel's will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? For what can a man give in return for his life? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

And Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him, “You lack one thing: go, sell all that you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.”

Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name? And then will I declare to them, I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.

Just a few..

The above, if one can get through the run-on sentences?

Is a Logical Fallacy-- specifically No True Scotsman. But nevermind that.

Let's LASER in on this bit if silliness:
The early church were being slaughtered left and right for there beliefs in Jesus(which if He wasn’t real, doesn’t make sense why they would die for Him)

This is also a logical fallacy. But. More to the point? A false appeal to emotion-- the fact is? People die all the time for things they believe in--- but are not true.

They also die for causes that A.C. Simon does not believe are true...

Do you, A.C. Simon, believe in the Islamic God? Because lots of people out in the world absolutely do--- and they die for that belief every day.

In fact, I could name 1000's of Causes that people believe in-- and die for-- that are patently and demonstratively not real.

Dying for a cause does not automagically make said cause real-- need I remind you of the Jim Jones cult?

Oh, I'm not a Capitalist, so that would be a no. In that regard, the mythical character of Jesus and I are on the same page--- neither of us thinks unfettered Capitalism is a Good Thing.

Yeah, but that's nothing that would upset the power of the church at the time.

I'm not saying just because someone dies for something it's true. I'm saying that their belief in it does. ISIS members become martyrs because they truly believe in it. Likewise many people walked and talked with Christ, witnessed Him die and saw the resurrected Lord: and these same people were tortured, suffered persecution, and were put to death; not denying their testimony. Telling us that their belief in it was true and that it wasn't something they made up or foolishly believed; also bearing witness to the cause that Jesus existed.

And logical fallacy? Either your plain ignorant or don't want to accept the truth even if it hits you in the face.

Yeah, but that's nothing that would upset the power of the church at the time.
Power of the church? You mean synagogue? Well what the Jews were upset at is that He healed on the sabbath, got between they're hypocrisy, and that He made Himself the Son of God, making Him equal with God. But the main reason being that they were envious of Him. Plus He also exposes their hearts and true intentions, and they didn't like that.
