He doesn't tell us when...he just said to watch out for the signs that he gave in Matthew 24:3-14.

I believe the sign has been undergoing fulfillment since 1914, when the first of the foretold events (unprecedented warfare) was unleashed upon an unsuspecting world with its First World War. The rest has been happening just as Jesus said it would.

Matthew 23:39
For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Yes, Jesus was quoting Psalm 118:26
Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

Who was Jesus talking to though?
The ones to whom these words are directed have not blessed the one sent by God almost 2,000 years ago.

He appears to those who do what is profitable for their soul and no one else. There is no way to know when. One must always be prepared since we do not know the time of his appearing.

People didn't realize Yeshua was YHVH the first time; that Psalms 118 is cryptic, that YHVH shall become Yeshua as the Chief Corner Stone that the Builders reject.

(H3444 + H1961 = Exodus 15:2-3, Psalms 118:14-21, Isaiah 12:2)...

So if Yeshua then comes with a new name, as a thief at the midnight hour; doubt people would notice in this age, even when he states it to them.

In my opinion.

I don't know about Davids view, but the disciples and apostles who received the Holy Spirit after Jesus rose, had the same Spirit he had and came in the same name.

I don't follow some physical second coming. He returned after he arose according to Paul, speaking with over 500 people and the disciples. These are the Secret books the catholics didn't accept that the disciples penned as well.

That Name is Baha'u'llah. Baha'u'llah translated means the "Glory of God, or "Gory of the Lord".

Revelation 2:17 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it."

Revelation 3:12 "The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name."

Jesus was definitely referencing Psalm 118 here. The Psalm itself gives a good clue of when Jesus is returning. In verses 10-13 it is the Hebrew nation itself talking. This speaks of a future time when all the nations of the world will send armies against Jerusalem. This is when Jesus will return and stand on the Mt. of Olives. (Zecheriah 14:4) At this time they will again put their trust in God rather than man and this is when Jesus will return to save them from their enemies.

Psalm 118:10-13
10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them.
11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
12 They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them.
13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me.

The verse 25 is also of note. It says the Lord became their "salvation". This word in Hebrew is of course Yshua or Yeshua which is the name Jesus in Hebrew.

"against Jerusalem" means against the church of God and the children of the covenant. Jerusalem is a metaphor for the covenant of the promise. The second coming will occur when the powers that exist attempt to abolish the very church of God. Already we see that in many places, with the rampant rise of miltant atheism all over the world but especially in Western nations.

Gal 4:23
But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.

Gal 4:24
Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.

Gal 4:25
For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.

Gal 4:26
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
.
.
.
Gal 4:31
So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

wasn't Jesus an advocate

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.

Long awaited he will never return
In Europe, he will appear in Asia:
One of the league issued from the great Hermes,
And he will grow over all the Kings of the East.

The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings from the East.

Happy Ridvan to all.

This is the ist day of Ridvan a Holy day that celebrates the Declaration of Baha'u'llah in the Garden of Ridvan in 1863. The Celebrations go for 12 days and the 1st,9th and 12th days are Holy Days.

The Significance is that Baha'u'llah is the promissed Return of Christ. There will be no more Messages now for a full 1000 years.

Revelation 1:16

the new jerusalem is literally the new teaching of peace.

a city set on a hill cannot be hid.

so then they who is born of the spirit, is born free to be.

5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. gives birth to spirit.must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

born no longer of the flesh, but born of the mind, spirit.

involution

Revelation 22:14
“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city, the new jerusalem.

wash the inside of the cup and the outside will be clean too.

love changes things. with love comes understanding, revelation

Revelation 21:2
I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.

The verse before is important too because it shows why Jesus was going to back the work he assigned to his disciples....these were Jesus' instructions to them before he left to return to heaven....

Matthew 28:19-20...."Go, therefore, and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you. And look! I am with you all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.”

The churches have basically ignored this directive......but JW's didn't. They have been faithfully carrying out the assignment during this entire period. (Matthew 24:14; Acts 5:42; 20:20) Jesus started it.....it is almost finished now.
