I have another question for YOU to ignore

Can anyone explain what relationship do these things have? Word, way, truth and life.
I'm not sure if that is more of a theological question but I'll give it a shot.

Proverbs 4:20-25Amplified Bible, Classic Edition (AMPC)
20 My son, attend to my words; consent and submit to my sayings.
21 Let them not depart from your sight; keep them in the center of your heart.
22 For they are life to those who find them, healing and health to all their flesh.
23 Keep and guard your heart with all vigilance and above all that you guard, for out of it flow the springs of life.

Psalm 119:105 [Full Chapter]
Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.

John 17:17 Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.

Short and sweet. If you want life, let His words will show you the way. The words are truth and they will be life to them that find it. From the very word, life will spring forth in whatever you do.

Of course, you probably could write a whole book on it and probably anybody can go deeper than that.

OK I agree. His words or words people attribute to him? What about other prophet's words?
People say the Bible is God's Word. All of it as it is? All of it as it was written? Some of it as it is? Only some of it as it was written?

According to you, are all the words in the modern Bible God's words?

I like saying it this way... All words (in the original Hebrew/Aramaic and Greek) are true but not all the words are from God. For an example, Job truly said "The Lord gives and the Lord takes away". He truly said it but it doesn't mean that God approved of what he said.

Words of the prophets of God listed in the Bible are from God. (There are exceptions such as the prophet(s) who lied and were recorded as such)

There are those who dispute certain portions of the Bible and there are those who will have answers for the same.

and.... hello! :)

The Jehovah's Witness tracts have shrunk A LOT. Is the reason the love of trees or the love of money?

OM Jesus Christ! Has she bumped into a Jehovah's Witness?

Who started the preaching? I did! Where do I put my time in please?

If Adam had stopped her she still would have been the mother of sin because of this: James 1:14-15
LOL... this is speaking to the unregenerate man. Especially since Eve was deceived but Adam willfully sinned.

However, you could be right. :)

We will never know!

Someone might think that I recklessly try to impair the good work of the Jehovah's Witnesses by asking questions that they do not want to answer.
I trust that kind of thinking is wrong because, is it not obvious that Truth can not be impaired?
People can be impaired, but The Truth stands forever.
If it looks as though it can be impaired, it isn't true. Right?

They say that a Christian cannot expect miraculous healing in "this system of things", but that in the place they are told to go,
miraculous healing MUST be expected. In this system of things to believe in healing by The Holy Spirit shows JWs that the
person believing isn't being faithful and is trusting in Satan. But in that system of things which they teach, it becomes the opposite.

It is a dichotomy of positions to think that if one is healed, it is Satan who is doing it and it always has been a quandary in my mind in reference to the JW.

If Jesus was accused of doing miracles by the power of Beelzebub and replied, "A house divided cannot stand", why would His statement be wrong now? As you said "The Truth stands forever".

Muffled

Jesus in me
But, according to all the people who I have a problem with, the Bible is NOT open to interpretation. What was written is exactly what it means to them. I say, "impossible" and they say, "troll hypocrite". That is OK because it is funny.
Maybe God chose me to see because I have a superior* sense of humor. What do you think, i mean, "believe"?

ps I am nasty. I am. That means you are right about the hypocrite part, not about the all right part. How does it feel to be right?

* or an unusual sense of humor.

I believe that hasn't worked for my wife. She can't make heads or tails of the Bible.

I don't worry about it. I believe I let God be right and me correctible.

I believe if that were so there wouldn't be 10,000 denominations. However there are a lot of false interpretations and I can imagine taking issue with those.

If it is possible that each denomination interprets the scriptures the way each one sees is fitting, how is it that the people who heard it, wrote it, copied it, translated it, and copied it again, never interpreted scriptures the way they saw was fitting?

It is obvious that people NOW interpret scriptures the way each sees them. But according to popular opinion, it was not what ever happened before now. It never happened, according to the ones "in the know" even though we know it does happen (presently).

If you can apply statistical analysis to that theory, I think that it will crumble and fall.

Can I really be the only one who understands that if

1.The Bible is God's Word ie everything in it is what God does say
2. It says someone will do something

then that something will have to, must and WILL happen?

Got it?

It says, just when they are saying peace and security, then sudden destruction will be upon them.

It also says, God's will is that all people be saved and to knowledge come.

Got it?

According to the idea that all the Bible is God's Word, they HAVE TO say it and they WILL BE destroyed.

Do you understand nothing?

No, it DOES NOT mean that 1 Thessalonians 5:3 isn't what happens. THINK for goodness' sake. Please stop being like this; Matthew 24:39 Won't you?

Whenever "they might say" peace and security then suddenly upon them comes destruction......and no not shall they escape.

What does, "they might say" mean? It means "lay an argument TO REST". To believe peace and security means to rest. OK? When someone is at rest they are easily caught.

What are they resting from?

For anyone who is new, I'll tell you why I named the thread the way I did. That is what they do. That is what they ALL do. Call it reverse psychology if you want to. I don't care.

You are right! It doesn't make sense. It doesn't make sense because they make 1 Thessalonians 5:3 about NATIONS or groups of people. Of course, it is about each person. If YOU believe you have found peace and security then when anything that can destroy your peace and security comes, it will come how? How will it come? Unexpectedly ie suddenly. You do know what security means. Yes?

Why do they get a tax break for teaching God's Word wrong? How do you suppose God feels about it?

I actually know how Jesus feels about it.
