How would you respond to seeing a same-sex couple kissing/ or holding hands ?

Gal? I think that was a dude actually.

More evidence homosexuals are more mentally ****ed up than the general population... but of course, they blame Christianity for their ridiculous suicide rates since they're liberals and liberals don't wanna take responsibility for heir actions.

Um, half of Christians vote Democrat, and Jesus was a liberal...

Funny. You have a weird way of twisting things, Tom.
Sorry that I confused you with my post.
I'm still confused.
What did your post have to do with the fact that Christianity in general, and Mormonism in particular, are not normal or natural?
That was my point. What is yours?

Computers aren't natural. Capitalism isn't natural. Taxes aren't natural. Money isn't natural. Clothing isn't natural. Churches aren't natural. Politics aren't natural. Government isn't natural. Marriage isn't natural. Pharmaceuticals aren't natural. Hospitals aren't natural.

Sex is natural. Homosexuality is natural.

If people are going to actually use the "natural" argument in order to validate their own issues with homosexuality then they have quite the misunderstanding of what is and is not "natural".

Norman: In Post 99 you mentioned "Christians." Now you mention Mormons, no problem, I know you are an atheist and a homosexual from some of our past conversations. You think homosexuality Is normal and religion is not, ok.

But consider it this way, if we were all queer, then the human race would die out.

How is this even an argument? The world isn't nor would ever be 100% homosexual, so what's your point? And even if it were, people would still breed because even many homosexuals desire children.

It is also against God's word.

By "God's Word" you mean the words of ancient primitives who presumed to speak on his behalf?

"You think homosexuality Is normal and religion is not,
ok."

You are still misunderstanding me. Homosexuality is not normal, because most people aren't. Religion is normal, because most people have one. But most people are not any version of Christian, so Christianity is not normal.

The problem is with people confusing normal and/or natural with good and/or moral. They are not related things.
Is this really so hard to understand? Or are you trying so hard to justify what you already believe that you refuse to see this?

I kept wondering about the normal/natural connection. What is "normal" is merely an appeal to numbers or view and may have nothing to do with what is natural. As I pointed out, computers aren't natural, but they are pretty normal to have in our society aren't they?

What does "normal" have to do with this argument anyway?

You are entitled to your own ideas I guess.
I'm just pointing out the standard you have to live up to, if you're going to call homosexuality "unnatural". You must have about a dozen kids now, depending on your age.
But consider it this way, if we were all queer, then the human race would die out.
You know, gay men sometimes have sex with women and lesbians sometimes have sex with men. I'm not talking about while being closeted, either. Sexuality is fluid that way. Humans are a sexually opportunistic species. We're too curious to only have hetero or homo sex and relationships.
It is also against God's word.
Your God, maybe. But not my God. My religion doesn't have any restrictions. I can do whatever the hell I want and my God just smiles at my creativity in "sinfulness". ;)

I want to ask you a question. Suppose you went to a restraint and you saw a same-sex couple holding hands or kissing?
BE 100% FROM THE GUT HONEST. DON'T LIE.

**Understand that I am asking HETROSEXUALS this question. It is not meant to deride or make a negative or homophobic comment about our LGBTQ members. Thanks !!

I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Yea... but anyone of any political orientation can do that. Jesus didn't really talk that much about government.

The point is that Jesus loved and accepted people unconditionally, so he wasn't a bigot or a homophobe.

Shame on the hypocritical Christians who don't follow his example.

The point is that Jesus loved and accepted people freely, so he wasn't a bigot or a homophobe. It's a shame that more Christians don't follow his example.
The problem with the Jesus figure is that he's anything you want him to be. So it's impossible to say who has the "correct" view of Jesus and his teachings. He's one size fits all.
