So my wife and I had the first sonogram 2 weeks ago and everything was going great!

We had the second one this week and, not so great.

No growth had happened in the two weeks, he saw the heart but couldn't see it beating or hear it, no movement, the cord was far to small to support a baby. We need to return tomorrow morning to confirm everything, but it is looking like a miscarriage. I'm really sorry to be such a downer and I sure hope I am not depressing anyone.

But I just wanted to let you all know.

Honestly I sure hope my faith can survive this it's things like this that really make me question things...

Aww :sad4:...I remember what you told me about what happened to your other child. Now this? I hope everything gets better. )( I can't imagine how hard it would be to deal with the loss of two children...

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Your wife needs to rest up and you need to serve her like a slave (if you're not doing that already).

I never had a miscarriage, but that would be a dreadful thing and I hope that doesn't happen. I hope it's just a thing that will right itself with rest and good nutrition. I really hope so.

All the best. *fingers crossed.

That is so unfortunate. Was it going to be a boy or girl? You're in my prayers. Jai Shri Krishna

No clue. Only made it to 12 weeks (I know not a long time but this is the second time we lost a child) so there is a good chance there wasn't a gender formed yet. Well not technically, all children begin as girls and form into boys if they are boys sooo. Who knows what they would have been.
