Things You've Learned On RF

I think most of what I've learned here is about the various people.

I've filled in some details about religions, but mainly I've learned about people.

I learned that like in life, I'm looking through a thick window pane at the various specimens of humans. I don't know whether I should open the door and try to interact or stay inside and just observe their own interactions.

I found out that I don't like being interrupted. I can't be interrupted here so I have gotten used to being able to finish my sentences. My husband is the king of interrupting, too. :D

I've learned how to use teleological, exegetical, epistemological, ontological, and deontological in sentences. But from an ornithological standpoint, it's all kind of circumlocutory to me.

I've learned that if you're lacking in actual evidence, just change your font, font size, and color, and you stand a better chance of convincing people.

Conversely, if you have a real argument, you don't need to do those things. People will ignore it just as readily without all the fluff.
Indeed. I am always amused at what I get fruballed for. The posts I think are truly frubal worthy rarely garner any interest whatsoever. My "toss off's" give me tons. Go figger. It is a bit frustrating, but one gets used to it.

I feel the same. Stumped why a half ***** joke gets fruballed but posts with better content are ignored.

Please, please bend over, say that sentence again slowly, real slow, and then bark like a doggie. Please!

I learned around 2005 or 2006 that RF is where good arguments come to die.
