I did walk through it, it was lovely, the air was crisp and clean feeling, the grass was crunchy under my feet, it was stone quiet with occasional eerie crow caw echoeing around us, I prefer the cold tbh.

Well, I don't like it. It makes everything more difficult... It's easier to fall down or wreck your car... sometimes my car won't even start when it is too cold. And then I have to start my car waaaay early or else I have to wait for the ice to thaw off the windshield and then be late (or more late than normal) to my classes...

Plus I just don't like being cold. :no:

And in the winter there isn't as much day-time. It gets dark really soon. Now in the summer it is still light out at 9:00 at night. And I love it.

Boy... I hate snow. I much rather prefer the warm weather. Or the sort of neutral kind, where you aren't cold or hot. That's the best. ^_^ Snow is pretty, and sledding is fun, especially violent sledding down extremely steep hills. But it's just so cold and difficult to drive in that the prettyness and the sledding doesn't make up for the pain it causes every inch and corner of my soul.

I like the cold. YOu can always add more clothing. In hot weather there's a limit to the amount you can take off to keep cool...

When I came home from work one morning there was a new addition next to my drawing table.

Mrscardero bought and assembled this desk (the wooden one on the right) so that she could work on the new season of The Mod Squad comic. Though her enthusiasm is to be admired and the location of the desk next to mine clearly indicates the endearment that she would prefer to work closely with me, I haven’t found the courage to tell her that due to economical reasons, I’m going to have to let her go.

I like the cold. YOu can always add more clothing. In hot weather there's a limit to the amount you can take off to keep cool...

You could swim or play water balloons or squirt guns to keep cool. Or eat a snow cone.

You sounded soooo like my mother there, hee hee. My dress is knee-length so i think I saved some dignity. Other than that, blame my stylist (I wish)

:areyoucra That is my place of worship. No really, just a night out UV, I could have posted a pic of me sitting looking all conservative but it's better to just be me (I think).

I'm not sure which friend you are talking about but I'm sure it will be my younger cousin, she's a wee darling.

A Winter's Day!

As some of you *might* know, it snowed here a wee while back, so I thought I'd show ya's a few pictures of Dunedin coated in white! (well... more specifically, where I live xD)

That's looking towards our front door from the street at about 5am - my flatmate had (literally) yelled at me to wake up because it was snowing. (The other flatmate wasn't as happy about it though). But I took full advantage of it and went out and froze my fingers!

Me, backyard, in front of the apple tree. I was really shivering at that point! (If you look closely, you can see a few apples still on the tree!)

And we went for a walk into town, to the park and found that the ducks really didn't seem to mind the temperatures at all!

I drink "room temperature" cofee sometimes.

But my mother? She drinks "reheated day old" coffee.(her own invention that I can not understand).

She also puts day old coffee in her chili and spaghetti sauce.It gives it "richness" . :yes:

Cold coffee and warm beer..Thats the ticket!
