Trusting the Bible

Belief in the Scriptures and faith in the ransom sacrifice of Jesus is the only hope for a future, Acts 3:12, Gal 2:16.
The Jews used the, including Jesus, used the Septuagint version oh the Holy Scriptures, in the first century. Jesus made the statement: Your word is truth, at John 17:17.
John 1:1 John 17:17 might have read; The Son of God is the truth. John 1:14 Please tell me, is my Bible Jesus Christ?

The Bible says that ALL scripture is inspired by God, and that the Holy Spirit made sure that all that was written by the early Bible writers was inerrant, 2Tim 3:16,17, 2Pet 1:20,21.
How do you know that 2 Peter 1:20,21 is about your Bible and not about the writings of the Hebrews about Jesus? And how do you know that all scripture means every scripture and doesn't mean the finished message?

At 1Thes 2:13, Paul states that what is written is not the word of man, but the word of God.
1 Thessalonians 2:13 does not say what is written is the word of God. It says what they spoke (to the Thessalonians) is the word of God. What it means is they followed in Jesus' footsteps saying only what God's will allowed them to say. John 5:19 1 Peter 2:21

It is impossible to be a Christian and deny that the Bible is the word of God!!!
Prove it.

I think that it is impossible to be a follower of Jesus Christ while calling The Bible "The Word". Is Jesus Christ Logos or is the written word logos?

Both? And you call the trinity confusing?

You who believe God's word is the Bible which can't be wrong is it Jesus Christ and if it isn't then why is there a Jesus Christ? Why are there two to follow and not just one?

I suppose I might be on ignore by everyone believing the Bible is God's word. You believe The Bible leads us to God. I believe Jesus Christ leads us to God. There is one leader. Correct?

Is the Word of God Jesus AND the Bible? If The Word of God is Jesus and the Bible then what else is?

Really? Some people say the Bible is the word of God. The Bible says Jesus Christ is the word of God. If the people who say that the Bible is the word of God are right then there are two words of God. If there are two words of God who says there aren't or won't be more words of God?

How do you know that there are only two?

That is a real question. HELLO?

Does nobody understand that if there are two there might be three or more?

I am in a lucky place because I am certain there is only one, the man, Jesus who is now Christ. OK? But if you can, I think you should be able to change my mind. Can you? Won't you? Why not, please?

The Bible says, "logos". When the Bible says logos does it mean the written word or the living being, the son of God and how to know? Whenever logos is written HOW do you know if it means the Christ or the Bible? Please answer the question .

I looked up the meaning of the word logos and it appears to have much more meaning than just the message.
I find words to describe it such as "control", power (as in what caused the universe), "rational", and "an argument using facts".
What about the Bible are those things?

No, you don't "get me" at all.

You are quite mistaken when you associate your artlessness with me.

If you can't trust the Mona Lisa or Bach's masterpieces, and therefore cannot trust Scripture at all, you're beyond unqualified to even make that kind of judgment.
How do you equate unknown authors who claim to speak for God with pieces of art and music? They aren't claiming that your salvation is riding on their art. Any writing that claims divine inspiration should be examined with extreme scrutiny, as so many have claimed this.

Good. Given the size of my ignore list I was starting to worry.
Honest to goodness you are special and I would not put you on ignore though once I did for a few minutes. I always brace myself for your posts and so I am real pleased when you have not insulted me. Haha
