I do believe in Aphrodite, but she isn't really a deity I have a desire to get involved with too much. I have venerated her on her days sometimes. That's more acknowledgement. I will say this. People tend to criticize some of the gods for their sexual appetites, but we don't know how the world might be different without the resulting demigods. It is said Lord Indra/Zeus has taken refuge.
