Would Christianity have survived as a movement without Paul?

SaintAugustine

I agree with Fallingblood..there is not enough evidence to support pagan intrusion into the Christianity, and as he says Christianity was still part of Judaism. I would however point out that that Paul was functioning on the outside when Jerusalem got razed to the ground in 70 A.D. and his audience were the Gentiles. That changed everything. The very landscape was different and ripe. I have seen top 100 lists in which Paul is actually above Jesus...so..two things I would point out..without Paul not as quickly and powerfully. And withot Emperor Constantine who made Christianity legal it would have stayed an underground religion for a long time.
