Would a TV show like this be too violent and anti Christian for the average American?

I think we need a TV show that reminds us of why we should be optimistic of humanity’s future. There would be exploration and space battles. Nothing worse than PG-13 would be shown. The Force Awakens is my favorite fantasy movie ever!

This show takes place 200 years in the future where Humanity has united under freedom and democracy. Humanity has achieved interstellar travel as well and has become part of an intergalactic community.

Our main characters would be a spaceship crew part of an multilateral military space exploration task force with the mission to find other civilizations and conduct diplomatic and humanitarian missions.

Our dashing captain or commander

Who would be a combination of Eisenhower and Colin Powell.

They would only use force in self defense

What about fishing? Would they use force to catch fish or to hunt game in order to survive? If not, what do they eat on their space travels?
