Wiccan and Evangelical?

Heres my weird story... :help:

I was a solitarian witch while a teenager but I had a very terrible situation with a cult and I thought my religion had fail me... the I became a VERY conservative christian... But now in my third year of college, having studying such a beautiful diversity of religions I'm opening my self of not judge any religion and to even look at my old practices with a more mature view of it and without judging.

That a VERY short story of my too-large-to-explain story. But anyway, my point of writing is because I'm confuse. I love God and I have a deep relationship with him but at the same time I think I can worship him with wiccan tradition.

I see the bible as it is, the cultural and historical context of those people and epochs. I do believe that Jesus was God and save the world (not a few people, but the WORLD) and that he didnt took any religion as his favorite. I believe that there are so many traditions to worship God (every of it has a bad and a good part). So why can I not use wiccan tradition to worship the God of christianity i chose?

I'm confuse but at the same time I feel that both can be together. I've study both religions very well, but I don't know how to put them together, as they are in my heart, in every concept, meaning and practice. Btw, I worshiped the Goddess and that a part that I'm also confusing with...

:fish: :lunar:

any comment, recommendation or anything else?

The trouble I found with Christianity was similar.

It accepts no other religions - Jesus and the Goddess just do not seem to mix.

I had some Christians tell me that the Earth Goddess was in fact The Virgin Mary or some other Biblical figure.

In the end the general exclusivity (amongst other reasons) pushed me away from Christianity.

I am sure cults in any religion could have negative factors. I found my growing Christianity dispelled once I started spending time with practising Christians - too many rules etc.. that aren't even in the Bibles. I am sure a Pagan cult could be similar.

I find it best these days just to remain relatively solitary and spiritual - it certainly avoids getting mixed up with all the human group psychology issues.
