Why doesn't the Bible say what it means?

Why doesn't the Bible say what it means?

If you mean the Gospels.!

One reason is that it is neither authored/written by the All-Wise G-d, nor by a reasonable human being i.e.,Jesus.

That's the thing.

In Christianity, God as the Creator is not "real" in the sense that creation is. Anything in creation we can "trust and believe" because we - as part of creation - can review and test it, establishing it as proven.

As Creator, God is not a "real" part of creation, but stands outside of it. So to reach God we have to journey outside of the real and meet God by faith.
I've never heard of that. Sounds like Star Trek.

I don't understand. The bible says precisely what it means.

The Holy Bible was authored not by human minds but by the mind of the Holy Spirit. The Bible is written the way it is written for the same reason that Jesus spoke in parables. Only those who have a heart-desire to know the truth are able to understand the truth. The others, they won't get it. The ones who have a heart-desire are the ones who have the Holy Spirit indwelling them. Read 2 Cor. 4:4 . It states that the god of this world Satan has blinded the unbelievers so that they will never be able to understand the truth about God's plan of salvation from hell. Until the Holy Spirit supernaturally takes away the blindness caused by Stan, the unbeliever will remain blinded. That's why Salvation is wrought by the Holy Spirit and not by man.
That is a mighty big pile of bold empty claims.

There is only one interpretation and one truth.Mens thoughts and interpretations mean nothing. It is what God says that matters. Those who are blessed with God's grace will know what God means. These will come to have an accurate knowledge of the truth.Only God can bestow this upon man.Man cannot do it on his own trying to use human wisdom to try to understand godly wisdom.

Genesis 40:8 “We both had dreams,” they answered, “but there is no one to interpret them.”Then Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell me your dreams.”
Gotta love the whole elitist mentality that so many theists wear proudly on their foreheads.

Why not just believe what it says?

Because we do not appeal to ignorance

but if you claim to believe in it why do have to say it does not mean what it says?

Because without education 99.9% of people do not understand it as written, much is taken out of context because it was written for primitive men using rhetoric and mythology, poem and song, history and stories which DO NOT apply the same today as long ago.

Its why you go to church and are taught, because your blind free wheeling it.

30 Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.

31 “How can I,” he said, “unless someone explains it to me?” So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him. (Acts 8:30-31)

Paragraphs.

Jesus Christ's teachings irritated thousands of Jews in His day. He said: They hated me, so they will hate you. So I am not surprised that you are irritated. The Holy Spirit said thru' the Apostle Paul that the message of free salvation because of the Cross of Christ (same as the sin-cleansing Blood of Christ) is an irritation to unbelievers. So you will no doubt hate the message of the Holy Bible. Not just you but all Muslims hate the message of the Holy Bible in the New Testament (i.e., the new agreement/contract made by Jesus Christ).

The Holy Bible can be understood ONLY by those who are led by the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ. Jesus said that after He goes away to heaven He will send His substitute the Holy Spirit and He will TEACH all truth to those who WANT to know the truth.

But Jesus did not author or dictate the Gospels. It was authored/doctored by Paul whose spirit was not holy. Paul started with a fake vision and invented many creeds that have nothing to do with Jesus. Paul could be best described as the seed of Anti-Christ.

Ah, another elitist fan.

Would you please take a few minutes to read John chapter ten in the New Testament of the Holy Bible.
As for Saint Paul the Apostle (i.e., a sent one of Almighty God), he has been known as SAINT Paul all thru' church history. Now for him to have had the title SAINT for the past 2000 yrs, and continuing to have that honour, he had/has to be a real Saint of Almihghty God. If he was/is not a Saint then his Sainthood would have not lasted even a few days. Why? Because he would have been stoned to death by the Jews, his own people. He visited a lot of synagogues while he ministered. His death came not by being stoned as a blasphemer of the Old Testament Scriptures but by being beheaded by the Roman government.

As for him being an anti-christ, the Holy Bible gives us a very good definition of an antichrist so anybody could identify an anti-christian person. Here it is in 1st John 2:22 "Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Anybody who does not believe in God the Father having a Son (Whom we Christians call God the Son, is an antichrist.

This is what I think most evangelicals believe, but few state as much up front because rational people would be forced to dismiss them. You cannot have a discussion with someone who claims interpretation is limited by supernatural guidance.

Conveniently, this also has the effect of excluding academic specialists from having a voice in theological, scriptural and doctrinal debate, while privileged sincere but ignorant (as in of language, history, etc) preachers and laity.

Why would Almighty God want to help unbelief in Him? The whole Bible is about one thing: believing in the Creator God. BTW the creator God is Jesus Christ, called the Word in John ch. 1.
John 1:1King James Version (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Revelation 19:13
And he (Jesus Christ) was clothed with a vesture (clothes) dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Those who don't believe get no help from Him. If there is seeming help that will be from Satan who disguises himself as an angel of light. Here it is:
2 Corinthians 11:14 [Full Chapter]
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Jesus is not God the Almighty.Jesus is the Son of God.What you read in that scripture is a misconception.Yes Jesus was called God or a God but he is never referred to as God the Almighty.Jesus is the Word of God.He is not God the Almighty.

There are many scriptures that make this very clear.for instance Jesus prayed.Prayer is something humans do.God has no reason to pray.Prayer is for asking of things.Making petitions, thanksgiving etc.. Jesus prayed to his Father in heaven.Jesus was asking of things.God the Almighty doe not have to ask permission for anything.
Matthew 26:39 Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.”

Here in this passage Jesus is clearly asking his father if it is possible to please remove the task at hand.Jesus also makes it clear that it is the will of God.So we can see who is in control.

Jesus has limited knowledge of things. Here in this passage it shows that only God the Almighty knew the appointed time of the end.Matthew 24:36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father."

It says, "only the Father"

Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Here Jesus is called Mighty God.He is never called the Almighty God.There is a huge difference between Might and Almighty.

If we read Isaiah 9:6 it tells us Jesus is called wonderful counselor,MIGHTY GOD. Now,notice what it says in this scripture.

Exodus 6:3 King James Version (KJV) 3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name Jehovah was I not known to them.

-- IT SAYS JEHOVAH IS THE ALMIGHTY GOD--

SO FROM THIS WE CAN CLEARLY SEE THAT JESUS IS A MIGHTY GOD AND JEHOVAH IS THE ALMIGHTY GOD. THERES A HUGE DIFFERENCE.

LETS SEE WHAT THOSE WORDS MEAN....

( FIRST MIGHTY)

might·y 1. Having or showing great power, skill, strength, or force:

OK....NOW ALMIGHTY.

ALMIGHTY: al·might·y adj. 1. Having absolute power; all-powerful:

1. all-powerful; omnipotent

1. having unlimited power; omnipotent, as God.

SO, WE CAN SEE NOW THAT ONE IS A STRONG ONE AND THE OTHER IS SUPERIOR IN POWER AND OMNIPOTENT.

JESUS IS NOT THE ALMIGHTY GOD

Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Here Jesus is called Mighty God.He is never called the Almighty God.There is a huge difference between Might and Almighty.

JESUS IS NOT THE ALMIGHTY GOD

You are willing to believe one little part of a verse but unwilling to believe another little part of the very same verse and it is this: Everlasting Father. How come?

And Btw, Jesus Christ claimed Himself to be Alpha and Omega. The Old Testament calls Almighty Creator God Alpha and Omega. The Quran has it that Allah is Alpha and Omega.
Are there three Creator gods, all three calling themselves Alpha and Omega? Since Jesus Christ said He is Alpha and Omega (same as The Everlasting Father of Isiah 9:6), then Muslims have to believe that Prophert Jesus Christ--Son of Mariam--lied! True or false?

Much studying has to be done first brother in order to fully understand what is really meant and said.I will begin with the "Everlasting Father" first. This title speaks of Jesus Christ but not how you might think it does.To you it means that he is God.This is incorrect. What it really means is that Jesus has become like a father to us christians in a symbolic sense.Adam was our first father. He is the one that started the human race.He sinned and we all inherited death through sin.Jesus came to earth and redeemed us from this.He shed his perfect blood as a ransom sacrifice so we could all have a second chance.Jesus Christ erased Adamic sin once and for all.In this way he became our Everlasting Father. He gave us all life again.Through Jesus Christ we have a chance at life everlasting. If we believe that he is the Son of God and follow God's commandments,we can have a chance at salvation. We have already been forgiven for our sins through Jesus, and now we must run the course until the end.

Let me now explain about the "Alpha and Omega." This title rightfully belongs to our God and creator Jehovah. He has always existed and has no beginning and no end.He is eternal.Jesus on the other hand did have a beginning. He was God's first creation. His firstborn as the scriptures call him.Something that was created, and was born, has a beginning. Therefore Jesus is not God.
Colossians 1:15,16.The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.16 For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.

So we can see that Jesus was indeed God's firstborn.Jesus existed before he was flesh on earth. Some people think that Jesus just came to be when he was born from Mary. This is incorrect.Notice it says,"For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him."

This did not happen when Jesus was born from Mary. This occurred way before this.Jesus was around a long time before. Not as a human but as a spirit form.It was Jesus whom God was speaking to in the garden of Eden when man was being created.Genesis 1:26 Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness," God was speaking to His Son and first creation. Everything that was made was made through Jesus and for Jesus.

Jesus also calls himself the first of God's works in Proverbs 8:22-31.
22 “The Lord brought me forth as the first of his works,
before his deeds of old;

30 Then I was beside him as a master worker.

I was the one he was especially fond of day by day;

I rejoiced before him all the time;

So we can clearly see from doing some thorough studying that Jesus is not God the Alpha and Omega.Jesus is God's Son and firstborn over all creation. The first of His works.

Here is a bonus answer. When Jesus Christ is referred to as the "first and the last",this does not mean that he is God.What it really implies is that Jesus was the first to be risen to everlasting life by God, and the last to be risen by God.Remember, all those that were risen before Jesus were done so by Jesus,by way of God's holy spirit. When Jesus died,he was personally risen by God the Almighty to everlasting life.Jesus did not raise himself. It was done by God.When Jesus left earth, and went back to heaven, all those who were resurrected to life were done so by the apostles,by way of God's holy spirit. These ones that were resurrected back to life did not inherit everlasting life.People like Lazarus and others, died again.Thier life was just temporarily restored. So Jesus was indeed the first and the last to be resurrected to everlasting life by God personally. When the time of the end comes and all those ones are to be resurrected, they will be done by the King Jesus Christ by way of God's holy spirit.Jesus Christ holds the keys and has all authority.Authority given by God the Almighty.

Here is a scripture to help you see what I mean.
  • Revelation 1:17,18
17 When I saw him, I fell as dead at his feet.

And he laid his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last, 18 and the living one, and I became dead, but look! I am living forever and ever, and I have the keys of death and of the Grave.

So from this passage we can see that Jesus is referred to as the first and the last for the simple fact that he inherited life everlasting.

Do you have the perfect assurance that when you die that you will definitely end up in the very presence of Almighty God who is infinitely Holy.
