where is the forum for DANCE?

I have only seen it in films. Is it a fully choreographed dance...every step predetermined?

the tango is a performance
the paired couple rehearse

some couples take the effort to the extreme.....costumes and elaborate moves
all planned well in advance

I do prefer the casual appearance
and the moves are determined by the lead partner with subtle signals
to his partner
