What Elements Do All Religions Have In Common?

mr. sprinkles: every religion has conditional love(like bartering), but not unconditional(giving without expecting anything in return).

some feelings are unreliable because they don't always produce the expected results like passion.

Prince of Dorkness!

i am referring to buddha as a prince who never left the luxury of a palace until he was a young man. after seeing how the average man lived(poverty), he gave up his royal title and proceeded to clothe the naked, feed the hungry and shelter the homeless.

Ahh, but that is only the beginning of the story. He found that all of his generosity did nothing to eradicate the underlying causes of suffering. So he proceeded with his quest to understand and eliminate suffering, which ultimately led to his enlightenment, and the establishment of Buddhism.
