Can’t believe he came so soon
The Grim Reaper
Another grain of sand
For his dune
Can’t believe he sleeps till noon
The late sleeper
Another night at hand
To dance away to his favorite tune
Can’t believe that by the light of the moon
The night creeper
Stalks and roams the land
Another relationship to break, destroy and rune.

Spontaneous first impression: A poem to get into!

I'll be back with more comments once I've read and re read this poem and have sounded it thoroughly. There's something in the music of it I want to explore.

I like the two line ryming. It seems you thought long about this piece. Is it about a true story? [don't have to answer if you don't want to] It's just very worrying to read it. I feel a little scared.
