Her lawyers fluffed it up in the case. Lawyers being lawyers. She made a case against OAN using the words literally and really which combined have a specific meaning. She linked a reporter at OAN to Russia due to work for Sputnik News in the past. She linked OAN with Trump. She made a statement of fact with no disclaimer. The lawyers claim her uses of really, literally and information were figures of speech and opinion
Maddow as we all know spent about two years assuring everyone their was collusion with Russia, each night a new "shoe dropped". After the report came out saying there was no evidence she teared up and still tried to spin it.
Yup. That is just part of the long history of Maddow treating her opinion as fact then telling the audience "facts". She has a major history of seeing Russia everywhere and using vague language. Even the Guardian has called her out on it.
