So yesterday while taking a nap I had a dream that turned lucid the
moment I realized it was just a dream. When that happened, the
first thing I wanted to do was fly. So I attempted to do so the way I
normally would in dreamville, by jumping up into the air a few
times till it 'takes'. I didn't succeed this time around, but it got me
wondering ...
The specifics involved, this time around, in my attempts to become
airborne were basically that I was trying to launch myself through what looked
like just a blank grey wall—or ceiling, I guess—and when I jumped, I
felt the beginnings of a 'shift', and a pressure around my upper arms as
though something was pulling me upwards. Like I was right on that border
between the place where you have to push your way up and the place
where you are then pulled the rest of the way up.
So I'm wondering this: Could this 'dream' have been something more,
like the beginnings of an OBE of some sort? Either way, it was memorable.
I was especially groggy upon waking, but it could've simply been because
I napped too long.
I've never done the astral projection thing, so I don't know where I
would draw the line between 'vivid dream' and 'no, really, you've done
it this time'.
Any insights on this?
