Upon this relief of conviction
And the attempt of bravery
Commences

Self improvement...
The lies we tell
To our loved ones
And upon ourselves
And thus we bring the wreckage
Upon ourselves.
Loitering upon our past
Poisoning our recollections
Never had I felt a good from then
As I feel the good from now
Without this poisoned nectar.
But today was a good day.
An experience never felt before
And never felt in the past
There is only one way to feel this experience
Again today
With the poisoned nectar from my past.
And now the day is gone
The memories of today have past
I reach for the poisoned nectar
For the yesterdays that's lost.
