Well I have just read the Catholic overview, not sure how accurate that is, but it said that Catholics consider the pope to be the head of the body of Christ on earth. Is this true?
I understand the Pope is the highest position on earth for the Catholic faith, and he can give ordinances and the like, but how can he be the head of the church when Jesus is the head of the church and He is God. Obviously you are not saying the pope is actually God on earth. So what exactly is his position?
I know that some Seventh Day Adventists think the Pope is the Antichrist because so many Catholics revere him "too highly" almost like an idol.
(Also this is beside the point but I have a funny story: back when I was a little girl I went to this Protestant community church once where I was told in Sunday school that Bill Clinton was the Antichrist. Lol darned if they weren't close.)
