The Origin of Religion

The origin of truthful religion happened with word of Revelation from G-d, in different part of the world and different times, that is also the reason of similarities in religions. Truthful religion is path for knowing G-d, and none could know it but G-d. It is for this that religion starts with prophets/messengers of G-d, organized by them and spreads through them.

Probobly it started around the camp fire ?.
where did you get that idea?

more likely it came from a discussion among a huddled group of people....
scared to death.....
the immediate catastrophe at hand.

realizing there ARE things greater than they are....
they assumed a fault upon themselves.....

an angry god with the power to do so might deal harshly with transgressors ....
and collateral damage might also be assumed.

no sinners among you

the assumption?.....god wanted bad guy dead
everyone else was too close

so then the practice of stoning comes up

I think the wise men saw it different than the ignorant who only saw superstition, just as so many today are still seeing.

Yes to keep the ignorant in line, like take away their religion today and many will go mad and destructive lol.
like militant Muslims?

not that I judge all by the few....

but then I picture that story about the Flood
and the other story about Sodom and Gomorrah

Yea and the religious belive they are saved, while those who are not religious are the ones who walk away from their misery and self destruction.
