Sat Sri Akal Ji,

As you can see, there is no Gurmukhi font available here., so the original text in your posts is lost on us.

Just quoting from Sri Guru Granth Sahib or any other book is just not interesting. Try to state the points you want to make, giving your own (not just copypasted) opinion. There are so many interesting things in SGGS that you should find that approach easy.

I hope you'll be back soon with something to discuss.

Anders, what better way to show what sikhism is really about then to show a shabadh directly from the guru with translations so everyone can try making sense of it? of course if you have any queries then i'll do best best to answer clearly. anyway i have given my point or opinion that god and the guru is our loving friend, and then a shabadh directly from the guru granth sahib ji to show why i have this opinion.
i didnt think i needed to discuss any further as this particular shabad is easy to understand and the message is clear!
the guru granth sahib is written in gurmukhi script and many different languages, so translations are provided under each line.

I agree with Anders. If you simply just posts bulks of text from the SSSG, the topic just isn't interesting and will not insipire anyone to learn more about it. I am interested more in your opinion of it and why do you think these verses should be discussed. All I can see is "God is our friend" is that really a big revelation that will surprise everybody here?

Moreover, there is no point posting the original Gurmakhi text, as most people here will not be able to read it anyway and nor is the script shown. All I can see is qUM myrw ipqw qUMhY myrw mwqw - That is meaningless, even to somebody who can read Gurmakhi.
