The honorary citizen Adolf Hitler.

I woke up to this story on the radio: Adolf Hitler loses honorary citizenship of Dülmen (yes, the danish are a bit behind, the story is from december last year)

My first thought was that this is a silly story.
The man has been dead for over 60 years. This is history.
Why mess with historical records?

But then again, this is probably a topic that other people are more emotional about than I am, so maybe I am missing something.

What do you think?

A revolting ode to a tardy teutonic town.

I'm shocked at their slowness to sever
their ties to ole Adolf, however
this act isn't hollow.
More cities should follow.
Tis better to be late than never.
