I am always refering to smiling.
It is a expression of many things.
A state of well being.
A time when we look upon something and it fills us with happiness.
Even when words spoken are considered good or wise.
What is it that makes you smile?
The wonder of a child?
A beautiful day?
Both of those I would consider when my smile emerges.
A smile lights up a room and fails to let someone see it as a great thing to be had. It inspires a state of being that for some say -"she is satisfied in life. Or she has no great concerns."
Anyway I would like to hear your point of view!

As far back as my memory goes......

I was sitting on the floor late at night, with my arms on the window sill.
I was suppose to be in bed.

I was watching the sparks fly out the garage door of the gas station next door.
My dad was up late working with a torch.

As I played with the mosquitoes on the window screen, I watch the sparks, the car lights passing by, and the unusually clear night sky....and the stars.

And I said to myself.....
'If God created all of this He is truly wonderful.'

A chill ran over me.

I regard this as my beginning.
Before this moment there is nothing else of mind and heart.

family & friends -
those moments where everyone is together, not worrying about anything, not thinking about work, not rushing to be somewhere, just being together - that makes me smile.
