Tears that sting

Occasionally i can feel a tear streaming down my face; but when i look in the mirror, it is not there. As in, a spiritual tear.

I have heard something along the lines of this happening to people before; but i dont know what it is about.

More recently, these tears have changed from tears of water; to becoming warm or even hot tears running down my face.

I do not understand this; but im guessing it is some sort of spiritual message.
