A story that I find interesting.

2 monks were washing their clothes by a river. They saw a scorpion drowning in the river and one of them rescued the scorpion, in return, the scorpion stung him.

The other monk said: Don't you know that it's the nature of the scorpion to sting you? Why did you rescue it?

The monk replied: Don't you know that it's my nature to rescue a drowning scorpion?
