Sydney to get 12 free days of rail travel over Easter.

It appears to me as though the rail tram and bus union (RTBU) more or less won in their bid to have the government recompense commuters for the earlier shutting down of the rail network.1

I hope the rail employees did not lose any of their pay during the shut-down.

1 'Mr Elliott said part of the reason for the 12 days of free travel was to compensate commuters for the disruptions on the rail network.

"The shutdown of the network last month was something that needed to be compensated," he said.'

In my opinion.

What about the rest of NSW? Like usual Sydney gets everything. Not that there's any public transport where I live but I still feel slighted.
