stem cell breakthrough

Just in case anyone hasn't clicked at the link, the news is someone is doing work with stem cells that come from amniotic fluid.

If it works out, it would put an end to the controversy over current stem cell research, since no embryos would be involved anyway.

It would be a great thing, if it works out.

I think stem cell technology has the ability to help a wide range of things but it needs to be carefully monitored.

It's wonderful that they are continuing research that will not destroy the unborn child in the process. I'm all for it.

Stem cell research never did anything to any unborn child.

They harvested cells from embryos that were to be discarded anyway.
Whether or not those embryos are used for stem cells they`ll be destroyed anyway.

The whole ethical dillema was never a dillema at all.

It`s invitro that y`all should have a problem with not stem cell research.
That is if you believe human life begins at conception.

Even if the stem cells in ambiotic fluid prove viable it will push the reasearch back years just to learn this new process.

Once again dogma cripples science.
<Sigh>
