Jethro Tull's....Agualung

I was born in the 70s, but I heard every song my mother loved. I could, at one point, sing you every lyric of The Carpenters, The Mamas and The Papas, and Bob Segar. She was no fan of the Beetles or Elvis but i still know their songs.

I'm 55. Skipping the Beach Boys and Supremes, and starting in High School:

Joni Mitchell--Blue
Carole King--Tapestry
The Band--Across the Great Divide
Aretha Franklin--Everything she ever recorded
Beatles--too much to name
Bob Dylan--Just Like a Woman and a lot more
Cream--Sunshine of Your Love
Buffalo Springfield--For What It's Worth
Sly and the Family Stone--Dance to the Music
Tower of Power--Bump City

That should get us old folks started.
