Oh, okay. I've never had a plastic one. I was thinking the plastic bits were in the regular ones.Normal paper ones.
The plastic ones tend to be for premium tea bags to make them look more expensive.

That's one of the reasons we use loose tea, tastes better and better for the environment.
Has to be Yorkshire Tea, of course, despite being from the other side of the Pennines.
That is criminal. They look like paper.
I instantly see a risk inherent to putting plastic into people's tea. Obviously if the plastic particles can cause inflammation then they can be a factor in colon cancer and in various aggravations of the intestinal tract. We don't need to wait for scientific studies to tell us whether this is a health problem. The responsibility is upon the tea manufacturer to make it clear that the tea bags are made of plastic and can leave plastics in the digestive tract. Not having done so they are ethically negligent. In my opinion they have behaved maliciously.
My Coffee is So Stong……..Personally btw, I like seeping loose tea using a metal tea strainer.
Just to restate your concerns if I may be so bold: This doesn't concern you directly but may affect the ones you care about. Do you want them to have plastic in their guts? If you did you would feed them legos, but you care about your loved ones and would not do that. Therefore you are against these plastic tea bags.My Coffee is So Stong……..
for the same reason....and several others
see my thread by the same title

will that be purchased in a plastic container?Well, looks like I'm going back to drinking loose leaf tea....
will that be purchased in a plastic container?
I am against..soooooooooo many things
but the issue of micro plastics is soooooooooo huge
sure …..we can recycle almost anything
if we can keep a grip on it
and then move to do something with it
the thing is......the abundance of convenience is so engrained in our lives
we would stop buying the products that are not convenient
and much of the problem dies with that arm of the economy
but our economy has so many arms
cut one off.....two grow in it's place
and could we back up?......all the way to NOT using the high tech
not I or my children will live to see it
rather I think the high tech micro science will swell
in our lungs
in our throats
in our guts
plastic scalpels are next
