Should the Box Jellyfish be eradicated to extinction? The Box Jellyfish is more feared than the Saltwater Crocodile by may locals. If you had a dep wound and it stung you there. You could be dead in 37 minutes. Usually most people die in an hour, if a patient made it to hospital on time. This see-through sea monster can kill you and your family fast and you'd never see it coming. Always bring you handy-dandy vinegar to repel the toxic sting. Many people have died from the box jellyfish and may those many rest in peace. We will miss them.

No. It never ends well when we get that involved with tampering with nature. They have evolved to have their place in nature, and erradicating them would have unforeseen consequences.
You might as well eradicate us to extinction because we are WAY more dangerous to ourselves than any other creature of nature.

Why did God create them? To give us another species to drive to extinction?

No, and I think the suggestion that we should remove any wildlife that endangers humans to be extremely short sighted and tunnel visioned. And something we've paid for.

E.g. overhunting Europe's predators made the black plague so much worse as plague mite carrying rodents skyrocketed.

Jellyfish are a staple food of many ocean animals, including many fish, seabirds and sea turtles. And the nets used to catch box jellyfish are notorious for entangling and killing lots of other species.

We'd do well to adjust ourselves instead of trying to adjust the biome.

Of course not. You’re taking nonsense.
Down here in Australia, taking a nature hike can kill you. Snakes, spiders, insects, birds, kangaroos etc.
If you eradicated all species that poses a threat to humans in Australia you wouldn’t have literal nature!
Besides the ecosystem needs box jellyfish. They are important to the ocean. Duh!

Trumps actions during the Covid crisis resulted in the death of more people than the box jellyfish.

If you want to practice dominion over an animal you could eradicate Trump's presidential hopes to extinction with your vote at the next election.

No. And I've been stung by a variety of box jelly.
