Still can't sleep ... mind far too "active" ... no ill-effects so far - not even drowsy ...

Here goes nothing ...

Self portrait without the music

I have a totally spontaneous mind
It is always my intention to be kind
Compassion is also important to me
I could happily do this for eternity

I love the niceness of each morning
I always wonder at the dawning
I do enjoy pleasant conversation
Flowers cause me fascination

I treat everyone with respect
This is easier than you may suspect
I try to exercise gratitude
Especially for the food I've chewed

I laugh at all the antics of my ego
I like to expand the things I know
Worry is such a waste of my time
I am quite pleased this poem does rhyme

Reality is a complete waste of time
I prefer something much more sublime
Terribly sorry if I have offended
Trust me that no pun was intended

Meditation can be real fun

Try to make your mind go blank
But not when you're inside the bank
Your thoughts may spin or they may dance
You may end up in a hypnotic trance
