If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
This here is the scriptural basis of the doctrine of justification by faith alone
The faith that ignites in your heart when you genuinely accept Christ as your Lord and Saviour saves you from the rightful consequences of your sin by imputing your sins onto Jesus Christ, who has already paid the price for them on the cross - at his cost, for your benefit.
