I’ve heard tales from the outback and the songs of city folk
I’ve camped among the Murreys shared their wine (Wisdom) and cracked some Jokes
Rubbed shoulders with the millionaires, met men down on their luck
And those, the world calls misfits, the so-called slime and muck

I’ve gazed upon the Light of Man in all his different hues
And find, I have no right to judge and nor my friend do you
For we are all one mountain that travels on through time
And may the highest pinnacle be the goal to which men climb

May that mighty pyramid with its missing crowning stone
Be the pattern for the life of man, Let no one take that throne
May it always be rejected by the builders of each age
And so become the cornerstone to a new and glorious stage

For the moving finger’s writing on the universal page
And we are but the story that grows from age to age
And the chapter of man, must soon come to an end
As the glorious story of our Son begins…….By S-word

“Eli” the Father and “Jah” the Son
Reveal that Jesus and John are one
John the lesser and Jesus the great
Oh praise the Lord who in parable spake
Revelations none could contemplate.
You have blinded their eyes that none might see
The wonderful plan revealed to me.
You have stopped their ears and they’ve never heard
The glorious story told in your word.
The door was there, but they couldn’t see
In scripture, where you hid the key.
The secrets revealed, yet still it’s hidden
For those who would turn and be forgiven.
In their sins they must die, each and everyone
Of they who reject your chosen son…..By S-word.

The Spirit bears witness I am “Who I Am,”
I have no need of the witness of man
The Spirit inside with who I am one
Cries out through his kingdom, Behold him, “My Son”
Here is the spirit in who I am pleased
He drinks of my spirit ---- on my word does he feed
Here is the spirit of he who once died
And was poured out on those who believed they would rise
And here they now stand as one cob of corn
From the seed that I planted, they as he are reborn
And they do I place on the thrones I’ve prepared
At the head of the body of my Son and my heir
For they judge nor condemn the body as one
But realise that He is my growing Son
Perfected by blood, now risen as He
Yes the voice of my Father cries out, “You are free”
A new creation that will live eternally…… By S-word

I Never cease to wonder midst the lightening and the thunder
How a million tons of water can just hang there in the sky
And the snow flakes, have you seed them? Such diversity between them
Never two of them the same, I wonder why?

Nature poses many questions and though the scientists may test them
And discover many secrets that she hides
I’ll bet if they could live forever, with all their studies and endeavours
In the end they’d be like us, still mystified

For the world is ever changing, interacting, rearranging
The only constant that you’ll find, is constant change
Take a plant as one example and the evidence is ample
You’ll never find a pair that are the same

Or view it from a different slant: take a photo of a plant
And each------ successive generation as they grow
Then in a million years or so, compare the first and last photo
Or better still----run all the film out in one long row

Then you’ll see the gradual change, no two plants will be the same
Old evolution definitely holds its sway
For each seed must have within it, all the experience of its parent
And In the end result, each plant will have its say….. By S-word.

I AM, the First and the Last
The Beginning and the End
The Alpha and the Omega
The Father and the Son
For "who I Am," is one.

I am the Alpha who has become all that is. I am the Omega in whom all that the Alpha becomes, exists: For "Who I Am," is one.

How much joy can one man feel, a consuming fire of love so real
A burning love for all that’s His, a love for He, in who all live.
The single one in who all begun, before the light of days had shone
When the Cosmos, you and I were one, declares to all, ‘I AM’ his son.
The only name with power to save, the name to who His sons he gave
Now I, who once with Him was one, return to where all had begun
For I must leave this earthly realm. My watch has come to take the helm
A swine who wallowed in the mud, now steers the course set by my God
This Galaxy that all can see is the body my God gave to me
Yet behind the veil you will not see, the me in you, though you dwell in me ....By S-word.

To Robert Service.

Day after day he sat there in the park beneath the trees
I never saw him get there, nor ever saw him leave
He sat there like a statue an object made of stone
Sometimes I’d look and there he was, but when I’d look again he’d gone

He never seemed to differ though I saw him everyday
An old man worn and beaten, who in a strange mysterious way
Seemed to stir a distant memory: a mist like question came to mind
And I tried to give it substance, give it form in space and time

But somehow it eluded me, was it something from my past?
Why did his presence haunt me and hold me in its grasp?
His eyes they never wandered from the window of my room
Like some ghostly apparition, had it risen from some tomb

And then today while at my writing desk just staring into space
I spied him the shadows that man without a face
Then a voice welled up inside me, Oh God another has awoke
And he pleaded, will you write it, "The book I never wrote"?

Poor soul oh how I weep with you, you child of old Khayyam
But this world is far to busy and I doubt they’d understand
They’ve never smelt the fragrance from the gardens far below
Nor wandered on the hilltops where the sweetest blossoms blow

Nor do they keep our custom and turn their wine glass down
To pour a small libation to those beneath the ground
Their future lies in darkness their past is darker still
And though I think it useless, of course I’ll do your will

We’ll write the book you never wrote and trim its edge with gold
We’ll fill it with your tenderness your wisdom brave and bold
Each page will scintillate with wit and clutch the reader’s throat
I pray that they will learn from it, “The book you never wrote”

Every line will ring with truth, with hope and joy on every page
A cheer, a clarion call to youth, a hymn, a comforter to age
All there that you were meant to be, your part divine from the God in me
The God who dies that we might see our promised gift of eternity.

So now at last my dear friend, come sit, and you can write the end
The end to darkness, thirst and pain, for you’ll never fear nor weep again
Exultantly from shame and wrong your glory rises in our song
And this we’ll not forget to do, we’ll bind your book in brilliant blue… By S-word.

Love, mercy and compassion, somehow seem to be the fashion
With the righteous and the goodies of today’s society
They lobby the authorities, although they are minorities
Demanding--- that our killers, be shown partially

Like Aids, they wouldn’t hurt you, they’re just a virus that within you
Prevents your anti-bodies from accomplishing their ends
They simply let the cells that kill you, multiply until they fill you
And destroy the very body on which our lives depend

So, to cure the greater body, we must get rid of those who lobby
For Justice in this world to slowly fade
The price of crime must be extracted, old penalties re-enacted
Life for life, and compensation, must be paid

Will our children of the future, praise this age, who, in its stupor
Encouraged cancerous cells to multiply
Or will we hear the warning of our unborn child who’s calling
“Physician, heal thy self, or else I die.” ...............By S-word.

To Omar Khayyam: the living Spirit of inspiration in Robert Service: MY two witnesses.

Through swirling waters deep and fast toward the birth of day
Through fleeting shadows of the past, my spirit fled away
Ever inward we were borne upon the streams of Time
Receding back toward the dawn, “Who I Am” and me to find
Somewhere in our distant past, our old friends hallowed grave
And there we stopped and sat at last beneath the perfumed shade.

There, we talked of this and talked of that and shared our time spanned love
There, we drank with him the living wine, ‘neath the waning moon above
There, we listened to the Nightingale as she sang her age old song
Of summers bright and winters pale, of Sultans long since gone
There, we watered with our tears of love, the blossoms --- round his sacred urn
Then onward through the mists above, through Time, our souls did journ

One more has been awoken, one more now lives again
One more has joined the gathering; one more came through the flame
One more now joins our singing as we hurtle on through time
To introduce “Who We Once Were” to He, “Who We Became.”
Now death, where is your victory, now death, where is your sting
Rejoice you Sons of Glory, to “Who you were and will be,” SING!…..By S-word.

This thread that you, the people scan, was started by another man
Someone has changed it can’t you see. They claim now, it began with me
“A Vegetable Sandwich has Little Appeal,” was written by someone, who I feel
Belittles himself with his own pen, and claims He’s not a full Penguin
9/10ths bird and one tenth man, It was He, by who this thread began
Perhaps this man who I don't blame, has pulled some strings to have his name
Deleted from this poets thread, that had first developed in his head
So now I ask, is this not strange, that the name of a thread and its author be changed?
And what of the people that it was said, who had read the poems in this thread
Over two hundred and ninety people to date, which now is reduced to twenty eight
It’s weird, the things that are going on, by someone in here, in this forum....By S-word.

It is my belief that the swaddling cloud that will surround the earth and save us from the initial burst of cosmic radiation, before the thousand year rule of our God and saviour who raised Jesus from death, will be created by a super volcanic explosion equal to the volcanic explosion 75,000 years ago, and that it will be triggered by an atomic war in the Middle East.

In dream I saw the heavens ablaze with balls of fire
Huge hailstones that were burning and streaking down the sky
The earth was clothed in purple, dark orange and deep blue
Like a swaddling cloth surrounding us that hid the stars from view
Dark clouds rose from the mountain peaks, earth’s veins were opened wide
Through which her inner blood spewed forth, in streams of living fire
Whole continents, they heaved and tossed, wave rippled through the ground
In all the earth, no hiding place of safety could be found.

The oceans boiled, they foamed and rose, destroying cities on their shores
All the river dams were busted valley towns were seen no more
The power stations of the earth all were melted down
A few survivors of the human race were all that could be found
And then I saw the winter, a winter so severe
It lasted not a few short months, but neigh on three long years
And the women who were pregnant, O God! The children that they bore
Grotesque and hideous malformations, I pray to see that sight no more

Then when the winter lifted and crops began to grow
A strange and eerie world emerged, from the destruction and the snow
A world with neither day nor night, where even rainbows couldn’t form
In the atmosphere above the earth, and yet the air was strangely warm
A thousand years or twilight and through that swaddling band on high
Three blood red giants were glowing through a hazed and orange sky
The sun and moon had turned to blood, yet far brighter than the moon
Was Jupiter the heavenly light, which in time would spell man’s doom?.....By S-word.

The major volcanic explosion of Hekla 4 in Ice land which spewed out massive amounts of Lava in 2350 B.C. coupled with a close encounter with a passing comet and a Tunguska like fire ball, which is believed to have been major issues in the inundation of Irsland that is said to have been left waste for 30 odd years, and the devestating flood around the Mediterranean Sea, which was the known civilised world in the day of Noah around 2,350 B.C. and was also believed to have caused the inundation of the Black Sea around the foot of the mountain range of Ararat. If one believes the scriptures, all that, will appear as a non-event when compared to the greatest tribulation that man has ever seen or will ever see that is said will occur before the Day of the Lord.

O! That shepherd of the darkness who claims God sent him out
And even though we know that’s true, that fact I wouldn’t flout
For God commanded Zechariah, “Throw my wages ‘cross the floor,
Those thirty bits of silver, for I’ll guide this flock no more
A worthless shepherd now I’ll raise to guide this stubborn flock
And he will be a useless one, of him I’ll take no stock
For he’ll not feed my little ones, nor search for them that’s lost
But he eats the meat of the fattest sheep. And their hoofs? He tears them off
That worthless shepherd, he is doomed for abandoning my flock
His power, will I destroy by war, his arm will wither dry, then drop
And his right eye will I turn Blind, that’s why he’s never seen
The passage where I speak of him, Zechariah eleven—twelve to seventeen.....By S-word.

Ignorance is preferable to error, and he is less remote from the truth who believes nothing than he who believes what is wrong. Thomas Jefferson

To all those who worship callipygians/Buttocks

Ignorance is preferable to error, it’s said
Less remote from the truth is one who is dead
Or one who believes nothing, you see
Than, "who believes wrong," which refers to me.

Though correct according to data today
Tomorrow these truths will all pass away
New data of which my mind evolves on
Will prove by tomorrow, that today, I was wrong

So each day I’m correct, although I’ve moved on
From the beasts of the fields who think nothing is wrong
Jules Vern, who put a man into space
Was wrong in his day, but he’s not in disgrace

I rejoice in the fact I was wrong yesterday
For my errors have made me --- "who I am," today
As opposed to the beasts with animal instinct
Who have no beliefs, refusing to think.

They worship the buttocks, behind which they stand
They live by the animal instinct in man
They foam at the mouth, while pawing the ground
Devoid of beliefs, especially one that's profound............... By S-word

To all those Fathers, who demand more than their child can deliver.

Pale and pallid her face, her hair a disgrace
Her clothes all ragged and worn.
Bare and filthy her feet, as she wandered the streets
Where the hoons were all sounding their horn.

She was grabbed from behind, but she didn't mind
These things, they'd happened before;
In the alley she lay while the mob had their way
There must have been seven or more.

When they finished, they ran, she heard the doors slam
And their laughter fast fading away,
Then she straightened her clothes, brushed her hair, blew her nose.
To her, Just another day.

Down the alley she stopped, behind an old shop
With a tap and some soap in a tray
Removing her clothes, with the soap and a hose
She washed the nights filth all away.

Then she thought of her Dad, god! She missed him so bad
Why had she caused so much pain?
To be with him once more, like they were once before
But she knew they'd just quarrel again.

And somewhere that Father, longs for his daughter
He sits and he stares at the door
Why had he demanded so much of his child?
Ahh! To relive that moment once more.

He searches the streets where the homeless all sleep,
And prays, she's safe in Gods keeping
A poor wretched sight, who asks God every night,
"Where is my baby sleeping"?

It's a blessing I s'pose that he doesn't know
Cos I'm sure, if ever he did
We'd find out there, near a rifle somewhere
With a bullet hole clear through his head.....By S-word.

It's too late to edit the previous poem, which should read on the second last line, "We'd find him out there, near a rifle somewhere"

To all of you who’ve ever asked, “Where does forever end?”
Where are the boundaries to eternity? ----- Can eternity begin?
Did God once wallow in the mud and frolic with the swine?
Did the consciousness of life begin in the body of mankind?”

To all those souls in torment, who from the wilderness cry out,
“All you Swamis, Priests, and Gurus, tell us what life’s all about.
Are you teachers of enlightenment, or blind men who lead the blind
Can the beginning and the end be one, who encompasses’ all time?”

To the prisoners in the dungeons of those shepherds of the night
To the tortured souls in those dungeon holes, who long to see the light
Let these poems be milk and honey, to strengthen everyone
Who are waiting for the brilliant light of He, who is to come. ....By S-word.

Elijah, who was carried up to stand by Enoch’s side
Stood by the brook at Kishon where the priests of Baal all died
It was He, who gave the order and the waters all ran red
As fifty and eight hundred more, false prophets all fell dead.
Will you fight the war ‘gainst ignorance, the war that will be won

I longed to hear someone express the words I couldn’t speak
Reveal to me the mysteries of life that all men seek
So I sought the men of science, who say the universe --- has no mind
Oh they say that it’s evolving, but will die one day in time
So then the men of piousness, with them I sat me down
But they say God’s mind is bodiless, those men in flowing gowns
Then finally in silent dream, just me and “Who I Am”
We floated on life’s living stream, with a pen held in my hand
T’was then the veil began to tear, in this Temple that is me
And here, within this sanctuary, I saw the one that I will be.......By S-word

There's a Ghost Gum out in the paddock
It stands there all alone
He's been there more'n a hundred years
Aint got the heart to bring him down
So tall and so majestic
A grander sight I doubt you'd see.

"What the hell are you flamin talkin 'bout?
Mate, it's only a bloody tree."

It's only a bloody tree you say
We'll I guess you could be right
And I'm not the sort of man what prays
But I reckon in God's sight,
That thing you call a bloody tree
Could be more important than you and me....By S-word

I ain’t never got a penny, I’m always broke I must confess
And the few things that I’m forced to own If I lose em then I guess
I’ve lived without em once before, can live without em once agen
The only things I really needs is me solitude, me pad and pen.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m not some mug what thinks that he can write
But anytime I calls me own, doesn’t matter, day or night
You’ll find me at me table, sittin here with pen in hand
Scribbling out some flaming rubbish and tryin to understand
How a man can sit here writtin words, and even without tryin
Jot down me thoughts then read em, and find all the lines is rhyming.

For instance, Just an hour ago, I’s sittin here and pondering
When from the north, then from the south, there comes this distant rumbling
And then me mind goes sorta blank and something moves me arm
And I thinks, now should I try and stop it? “Nah it never does no harm.
And words appear as I sit and write, not taking no great notice
Then I reads what’s written here below when me mind comes back in focus.

“To the north of us and to the south, the thunders peeled and the lightening flashed
While up above the sky was clear, not a single cloud hung in the air
The night was still, not a breath of breeze and starlight flickered through the trees
While all around, the wild storm surged, and what did you do? You got the urge
To sit and write this useless poem, when you should prepare for the coming storm.
So when you see the damage done by your apathy and stupor
You might just learn a thing or two that will help you in the future.”

Welll, it gets me mind a thinkin hey? I’m not one who turns his back
On a lesson from me teacher, Nah, me past has taught me that
And I thinks… well yea, there’s many folk, what live in many lands
Where conflicts rage around em, and it’s getting out of hand.
And they builds emselves an island, You know? A little dome of peace
Where they think the storm won’t hit em, like fools, they think they’re safe

But the storm clouds gather closer, then the lightening and the fire
Invade their dome of safety and they’ve got nowhere else to hide
So I makes meself a mental note and thanks the spirit deep within
For his insight and his knowledge and for sharein his wisdom
And I now make preparation for the great storm soon to come
Oh, I know we can’t avoid it, but we’ll come through it, me and mum

You can keep your gold and silver, and all the diamonds in this land
Cos there comes a time in every life, and I don’t give a damn
How much gold or wealth you got, or what position that you’ve gained
They’ll be useless in that time of Stress, better if you’d filled your brain
With the wisdom of the ages, the most precious thing of all
Cos He’s the one what saves you mate, while all around ya, thousands fall…..BY S-word.
