are they same? if not so, how are they different? path, lifestyles ...

Shramana is a person who has given up worldly life. They may or may not be a Rishi.

A Rishi is a "seer" who the Vedas were revealed to through states of higher consciousness.

Later on there were different categories of Rishis:

Raja Rishi who were kings.

Deva Rishi who was a seer of the Gods.

Brahma Rishi who was a seer and knower of Brahman. This is seen as the highest category of Rishi
