Uljanov Lenin's (leader of the soviet red revolution) definition of matter is:
the objective reality, that what we feel.
However, the definition relies on our feelings. But they can fail:
Hitler's Germany has seen in Hitler an ultimate saint and world level hero.
The course of history has proven, that it was just a mass-hallucination.
Thus, my definition of nature: that, what we measure. For example, "time is what the clock shows." (quote of Albert Einstein).
Consequence: the "observer" with his measuring devices is not part of nature. Thus, he is the source of super-naturality. I mean, that the laws inside the observer have the freedom function X

Consequence:
in order to measure correctly, there must be the same laws throughout time and space. That is why, for example, the fine-structure constant has been observed with the same value throughout the cosmos.
Why? Because if you insert the measuring devices into an area of alien laws, the devices will be modified, changed. Thus, they will not measure correctly.
Consequence:
the space volume is finite, the time has Beginning (Alpha) and the End (Judgement Day, Omega). Why? Because one can not measure an infinite value. Thus, that can not be part of nature. For example, there is speed-limit v<c, temperature limit T>0, finiteness of length: L>Planck's Length, time t > Time of (virtual) Big Bang.
Evidence:
By measuring observer influences nature, so Quantum Mechanics is the law of interaction between measuring devices and nature.
