Profane?

I find it interesting that some ritual practices performed by the greater Pagan community would be seen as profane by Christians, yet Christ was sacrificed for the sins of humanity and during the celebratory meal in the name of his ressurection bread and wine is consumed which is symbolic of his flesh and blood. Does this sound Pagan to any one else?

On a literal level, it sounds like human sacrifice and therefore not considered Pagan (despite what anyone might say about Druids and the wicker cage).

On a symbolic level...well, did we have the first agape (love feast) or was that the followers of the Christos? Out of fifteen years of study, I've never seen any indication that we were the first...
