I was a little surprised by the ending. I feel like that's a sure fire way to be forgotten? Also, why do people want to be remembered anyway?

A few are remembered.

I just saw yet another show on ancient Egypt and how each pharaoh built great statues and plastered his cartouche everywhere so that his name would live on forever. Humans are funny.
