This verse comes from the story of the temptations of Jesus. Upon being tempted by Satan for the second time, Jesus refutes him with the following words:
"On the other hand, it is written, 'You shall not put the LORD your God to the test.' " (NASB)
Now, my question is this: Do you think that that Jesus' use of this passage from Deuteronomy is evidence for His divinity? Does it help give any more insight to this ongoing debate?
