If you had noticed, I haven't mentioned the word socialist lately. I think I'm finally getting tired of both parties going at the same thing for decades. Same old promises, same old speil, rehashed and regurgitated election after election after election.

I'm starting to recognize that we are now in an era of ultra hyper partisanship of which there is no foreseeable way out of it as it stands.
Both parties? Are you equating the democrats with socialism? IMHO, both parties are anti-social.

Neither reflects the Social Contract of mutual co-operation for mutual benefit. Neither seems dedicated to the American values of Democracy, general prosperity and equality.
That said, I believe one of the parties is still more supportive of common prosperity than the other. The other seems more dedicated to maintaining a powered and moneyed elite.

I try to explain to people it's not really the issues themselves like bags
I still truly do not understand your issues with that. Me, I'm not entitled to them, I dont miss them collecting at home and eventually having to be disposed of because you have too many. We're able to get them free right now, but I'm adamant no bags becase it really is easier that way.
