Hi has anybody read this book? And if you did what did you think of it?

PUTTING GOD ON TRIAL: The Biblical Book of Job

A literary, legal and philosophical study- Robert Sutherland.

I'd love to comment, but I have not read the book. I reply to you because I wonder if you do not share my frustration of how little people respond to anything meaningful. And if they do, they rarely do more then scratch the surface. There are exceptions of course, but they are few and far between.

but too many discussions devolve too quickly to a quick side taking, instead of a real discussion of the positions, whether opposing or not. Knowledge unquestioned, unchallenged is not knowledge, it is the opiate of the masses. Anything worth having, worth keeping is worth defending, why is any challenge to anyones beliefs, even when reasoned and civil taken as an attack from one group to another....

I'm with you...more discussion, less dischord.
