I want to post Lao Tzu Quotes,
if there is anything similar to the quote from your religion or if there is any famous quote that you want to use to make fun of mine or state the opposite, can you join? :)

Here I go with the first quote.

“When people see some things as beautiful,
other things become ugly.
When people see some things as good,
other things become bad.”
― Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching

I think he said this towards the end but I always do the last things first :)

“Every step is on the path.”

I just like this one :)

“Go to the people. Live with them. Learn from them. Love them. Start
with what they know. Build with what they have. But with the best
leaders, when the work is done, the task accomplished, the people will
say 'We have done this ourselves.”
― Lao Tzu

Yay,lovely. :)

“Do you want to improve the world?
I don't think it can be done.

The world is sacred.
It can't be improved.
If you tamper with it, you'll ruin it.
If you treat it like an object, you'll lose it.

There is a time for being ahead,
a time for being behind;
a time for being in motion,
a time for being at rest;
a time for being vigorous,
a time for being exhausted;
a time for being safe,
a time for being in danger.

The Master sees things as they are,
without trying to control them.
She lets them go their own way,
and resides at the center of the circle.”
― Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching

“Just remain in the center; watching. And then forget that you are there.”

He who knows, does not speak.
He who speaks, does not know
(I find that kind of paradoxical, because Laozi knew, but speaks).

We put thirty spokes together and call it a wheel;
But it is on the space where there is nothing that the usefulness of the wheel depends.
We turn clay to make a vessel;
But it is on the space where there is nothing that the usefulness of the vessel depends.
We pierce doors and windows to make a house;
And it is on these spaces where there is nothing that the usefulness of the house depends.
Therefore just as we take advantage of what is, we should recognize the usefulness of what is not.

I think there is one more step over knowing which is a bigger step compared to the one which makes someone a knower and that makes them their own healer. He could I guess heal himself of making all that speech and being the holder of all that knowing. :)

“The Master is her own physician.
She has healed herself of all knowing.
Thus she is truly whole.”
― Lao Tzu

“from wonder into wonder
existence opens”
― Lao Tzu

“Trying to understand is like straining through muddy water. Have the patience to wait! Be still and allow the mud to settle.”
― Lao Tzu, Tao Te Ching

“In the highest antiquity, the people did not know that there were their rulers.”
